hey guys this is kind of last minute...
tonight, at around 10 pm ish till whenever...Kyle Hardie and I are throwing a bonfire. it is a combination of my 19th birthday/last hanging out before we all go off. i want to see you guys all show up, no matter how long you stay.

it is at the river at the end of river. go down river alllllll the way, take a right at the stop sign, follow the dirt road, you'll see us there. my cell is 215-0576 if you need directions.

so i'm working today at kresge lodge, and they are making fun of me because i want to take an obvious pay cut next summer to be a counselor. they kept asking me why i would want to do such a thing, what with living in the cabins, and the food, and no air conditioning and blahblahblah...
i started thinking...why do i want to be a counselor?
then it hit me.
i want to be a counselor..because i still want to be a camper.
i'd like to say good job to the following groups i watched the past week and forgot to say anything to:
international choir- i love elijah rock, and it dont mean a thing. i tried to sing along with lord bless you and keep you, but kinda choked on the memories it brought back.

great concerts this morning guys. i enjoyed sitting in the back of the shell, reading my book (i still listened intently, especially the pieces i already knew) and just enjoying a nice breezy day as the sun came out and music filled the air. it brought me back way too much for my own good.

In case you haven't yet heard the story:
SO i went to the smash mouth concert/ fireworks tonight at summer celebration. it was cool, the concert rocked, they played all their famous songs, i danced like mad, the fireworks were also sweet. anyway, as i'm walking back to my car, minding my own business, i suddenly hear a guy say "bitch" and then i see this blur coming towards me. seconds later, i was on the ground holding my mouth. the guy, who i had never met before, had just walked up and punched me in the right side of my face. my lip is completely swollen, and my gums are blackish colored. luckily, i didnt lose any teeth. it was completely random and i dont understand it at all. i didnt call the cops or go after the guy or anything partially because i wouldnt be able to remember who it was, and partially because i was so shocked by the incident i didnt know what to do (other than find an icepack).
another night of fun in the "beer tent capital" of the world.

So this means...i start at 10 every day except wednesday at 830. Tuesday and Thursday i'm done by 1, Monday Wednesday, Friday by 2. I do have band wednesday nights, but thats nothing new.
I think my schedule kicks ass.
